How we handle personal data.

This notice is issued under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia). It explains what LS Tour Sdn Bhd (1529893-P) (“MCL”, “we”) collects when you use malaysiacarleasing.com or enter into a lease, and what we do with it.

Last updated DD Month 2026. Section 7(3) of the Act requires this notice to be available in both Bahasa Malaysia and English; the Bahasa Malaysia version is pending.

1. What we collect

Depending on how you deal with us: your name, job title, company, work email and phone number; company registration details and, for smaller companies, a director’s identification for guarantee purposes; named-driver details (name, licence number, contact) for insurance; vehicle usage and servicing records for leased units; and correspondence with us.

On the website we collect the information you type into the enquiry form and standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited). We do not use advertising cookies. If analytics cookies are added later, this notice will say so and a cookie banner will ask first.

2. Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries and process bookings; to run company checks before an agreement is signed; to insure, register, deliver, service and replace leased vehicles; to invoice and manage credit terms; to meet legal obligations (road transport, insurance, tax and accounting); and, only where you have agreed, to tell you about MCL services.

3. Who we share it with

Insurers and their assessors; road transport and tax authorities; our workshops, roadside assistance and delivery partners; Perodua and other suppliers where a vehicle is ordered for you; banks and payment processors; professional advisers; and any party required by law. We do not sell personal data.

4. Where it is kept and for how long

Data is stored in Malaysia and with cloud providers who may host outside Malaysia under contractual safeguards. Lease records are kept for seven years after the agreement ends to meet accounting and legal requirements; enquiry data that does not lead to an agreement is deleted within twelve months.

5. Your rights

You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and limit processing where the law allows. Write to admin@malaysiacarleasing.com or the address below. We respond within 21 days as the Act requires; a small fee may apply to access requests.

6. Security

Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it for the purposes above. Systems are password- and role-controlled, and paper records are kept in locked storage at the branch that holds the agreement.

7. Changes and contact
